Remove the cap and fill it with dishwasher salt. Check how much amount of salt you need to add. Use the measuring cup to measure out and fill in by the funnel to avoid any spills and leakage.
If the compartment is full of water, you can still pour the salt in. If you have poured the salt then put the cap on the compartment now your dishwasher is ready to use again.
